Dr. Steven Mingos received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Missouri Dental School, Kansas City, in 1976. Dr. Mingos was nominated for early graduation for his clinical achievement and for his academic excellence. He obtained his bachelor of science from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Mingos is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.

In 1996, he was awarded the title of fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is currently active in the Kansas City Implant Society.

Dr. Mingos resides in the Kansas City area with his wife, Maria. They have four children.
