Dr. Jessop was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended University of Utah, earning bachelors degrees in both Math and Physics. He later earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

He is a member of the ADA and the Kansas Dental Association, and in the process of becoming member of Missouri Dental Association.

Away from the dental chair, he enjoys spending time with wife and 3 boys, playing basketball, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Utah Utes
